Cookie policy
How the Olympia Group website will use cookies and similar technologies.

How we use cookies and similar storage
The Olympia Group website uses strictly necessary technologies for core website operation and to remember your privacy choice. With your permission, it also uses Google Analytics 4 to help us understand website usage and performance.
Google Analytics 4
Google Analytics 4 is an optional analytics service. It helps us understand information such as which pages are visited and how visitors interact with the website. The Olympia GA4 measurement ID is G-Z2F532KFSX. We do not send customer names, email addresses, telephone numbers, postcodes or enquiry details to Google Analytics.
Analytics storage is denied by default. Google Analytics may use analytics storage only after you choose Accept analytics or enable Analytics in Cookie settings. You can reject analytics without losing access to the website.
Your choices
The consent banner lets you accept analytics, reject non-essential cookies or manage your preferences. Your choice is stored in your browser so the banner is not shown on every page. You can use the Cookie settings link in the footer at any time to change or withdraw your analytics choice.
First-touch marketing attribution
When you arrive through a tagged marketing link, the website may read the standard UTM source, medium, campaign, content and term values in that URL, together with the original Olympia landing-page path and an external referring hostname where available. These values do not contain the details entered into an enquiry form.
Persistent first-touch attribution storage is optional and is used only when Analytics has been accepted. It is stored in your browser under olympiaFirstTouchAttributionV1, is not overwritten as you move between Olympia pages, and is removed if you withdraw analytics consent. Without that consent, no first-touch attribution is retained between pages; only attribution visible on the current page may accompany an enquiry submitted from that page.
When an enquiry is submitted, available non-personal attribution may be included in the existing Lead Source Detail and Website Landing Page fields in Olympia Group’s CRM. No fingerprinting, cross-site identifier or advertising tracker is used.
Strictly necessary storage
Necessary technologies may be used where required to deliver pages, protect the service, process requested website functions and remember your privacy preference. These remain active because they are required for the website to function as expected.
September promotion preference
During the September 2026 bathroom promotion, the homepage uses session storage to remember that a visitor has dismissed the promotional message. This information stays in the browser for the current browsing session and is not used for analytics or advertising.
Advertising and remarketing
The website does not currently use Google Ads, remarketing, Meta Pixel or other advertising tracking technologies. Advertising-related consent remains denied.
Enquiry forms
Submitting an enquiry sends the information you provide to Olympia Group and our CRM provider. This is form processing rather than analytics. A non-personal generate_lead event is recorded only after the website confirms that a sales enquiry was successfully created. The event identifies the service journey and page route, but does not include the information entered into the form.
Third-party links
Links to services such as WhatsApp may take you to a third-party website or application. That service may use its own cookies or similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie information.
